Coming to a Rink Near You…

Roode 1 was powerful. Roode 2 was the modern day's answer to the Miracle on Ice. Now, weeks in the making, Roode 3 is coming to a rink near you! Roode 3 promises to be the best sequel ever conceived! With a keen sense of defensive puck skills and puck stopping skills, Roode 3 could be the most promising of the three part series, and can tomahawk opponents better than the previous versions!

“This is exciting news,” admitted Burt Roberts, hockey critic. “Roode 3 was just an idea a few weeks ago, and now it appears that Roode 3 is ready for prime-time! The hockey world is in for some shock-and-awe!”

With the loss of Curchin, Almeida, S. Hickey and P. Hickey things were pretty bleak for the once dominant club, and it appeared that the addition of Roode 3 would put the Penguins back in contention. However, the rumors swirling around the clubhouse paint a different picture.

“Roode 2 may take Roode 3 and move to California actually,” commented Roode 2 from his home. “It is all a big misunderstanding actually. I told him I was moving to LA, meaning Louisiana. He thought I meant LA as in Los Angeles California. So he decided to move to California to keep the Roode’s together. Unfortunately, we won’t be anywhere near each other.”

So no matter that Almeida, Curchin, S. Hickey, P. Hickey, Roode 1, Roode 2 and Roode 3 may all soon be history, the announcement of the newest Roode is as exciting as it gets! Look for Roode 3 somewhere between Louisiana and California in the not too distant future!
